As stated before, this is my favorite GN studio album.  This album was a departure of sorts for Gary.  It was his first release following his 'retirement' from touring after the oft praised 'Teletour'.  The songs are more complex in that they utilize a layered sound and marks the beginning of his extensive use of the fretless bass.  Several members of the group "Japan" appear on this album as guest musicians.

This was also the same year Gary made his around-the-world flight.
